Architect, who graduated from the Department of Residential Building Design at BME in 2011, defended his doctoral thesis, Spatial Reserve, in 2022 on constraints, opportunities, and design strategies arising from building regulations.
He has been an invited lecturer since 2011, an assistant lecturer since 2016, and an assistant professor since 2023 at the BME Department of Residential Building Design. In 2015 and 2023, his students awarded him Consultant of the Year of the Faculty of Architecture. In 2023, he won the BME Conlegner Károly Educational Award for Digitalisation. Since 2019, he has been organizing an online community @studioweiszkopf, where he publishes his students’ works.

András Weiszkopf DLA received the Conlegner Károly Lecturer Award in Digitalisation, established by BME and the Hungarian National Bank. The Conlegner Károly Teacher Awards were presented by Rector Tibor Czigány, Chancellor Miklós Verseghi-Nagy, and Bálint Balogh and Péter Fáykiss, representing the Hungarian National Bank.
